The Series 2 is a good opportunity to enter in the world of Kinnard Ukulele.This Tenor Series 2 comes with mastergrade claro walnunt back and sides (perfectly bookmatched) and a perfectly quartersawn spruce top. Binding is ivoroid. Fretboard, Headstock veneer and bridge are from rosewood. The neck is made from wonderful walnut, beautifully built. The fretboard is radiussed. A fantastic instrument with great tonality and playability. Perfectly for Low-G.
The Selmer Style Tenor Ukulele is derived from the very famous Gipsy Guitars that Kinnard has built under the label Dell'Arte Instruments.
This Series 3 Selmer Style Tenor Ukulele has been built for our shop. Tone and playability was the main focus for this Tenor Ukulele. Back and Sides are from East Indian Rosewood. The soundboard is from perfectly quartersawn torrefied spruce. The Rosette and the binding ist from hawaiian curly koa. A classic white black white black purfling line enhances the classy look of this Ukulele.
The radiussed fretboard and the mustache style bridge are from Ebony. The stained mahagony neck is joint to the body at the 13th fret. The elegant cutaway makes playing the fretboard up to the highest frets a breeze. The 18 inch scale is perfect choice for this Super Tenor body.
The sidesoundport enhance the monitoring for the player. The tonal quality of this Tenor Ukulele belongs to the best we came across. A fantastic attack, lots of dynamics and a lovely sustain leads to a very warm sound.
